About Tracy
Tracy Duran, MFA, Tracy's passion for community and equity began at a young age in Las Vegas,
NV, where she grew up and currently resides. She found her voice as a teenager, a champion for
the underserved, an advocate for change, and a passion for challenging processes and systems.
She saw inequity and strived to be part of the change. These early experiences significantly
shaped her identity as a Latina, a change-maker, and a community connector.
Tracy's professional journey began with 15 years of dedicated service in a museum, where she
emerged as a transformative leader committed to breaking down barriers for traditionally
marginalized individuals and communities. During this period, her passion for intercultural
development ignited as she recognized the need to foster equity in individuals and organizations.
In this role, Tracy served more than 50 non-profits that provided health and human service to
various communities.
As a Qualified Administrator of the Intercultural Development Inventory and authorized DiSC and 5-Behaviors Partner, Tracy is deeply invested in and passionate about leadership and organizational development. Her proven leadership skills enable her to cultivate robust relationships across diverse cultural dimensions. She seamlessly navigates generational, racial, class, ethnic, sexual identity, and gender orientation differences with finesse.
With a discerning eye for organizational culture, Tracy identifies opportunities for improvement and growth, offering unique solutions beyond mere strategies. She aims to create and champion inclusive environments where everyone is valued, deeply engaged, and has a sense of belonging.

Possessing over 25 years of experience, Tracy has collaborated with numerous organizations, developing programs that specifically cater to historically marginalized and underserved populations. Her lifelong commitment to empowering youth began at 17 in Las Vegas, Nevada, where she initiated her journey as a mentor. Tracy has worked across multiple human service sectors, starting with creating programming for youth in communities that experience extensive generational gang violence youth in treatment programs for sexual abuse and offense. Empowerment programs that build confidence and promote creativity and success. Tracy has worked with youth facing extreme adversity, homelessness, living with mental and physical differing abilities, behavioral challenges, and youth simply working to find their voice and place in a challenging world.
Tracy wears many hats, including being a daughter, mother, sister, aunt, artist, and active volunteer. She is also an entrepreneur who owns and operates small businesses. She holds a BFA in painting and drawing from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, and an MFA from California State University, Fullerton. Tracy's rich tapestry of experiences and expertise underscores her dedication to creating positive change and fostering inclusivity in every facet of her life.
